The Company
In October 2004, Bill Walter assembled a hand-selected team with the vision of bringing his HybriCraft technology to transportation markets worldwide (shown above left, next to a conventional hovercraft). On Christmas Day 2004, he described his technology as a capable rescue vehicle in the wake of the Indonesian tsunami. In 2005, he created The Walter Mobility Group, Inc., carefully assembling and educating an experienced and talented development network that will realize his dream. As Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Louisiana shoreline, William C. Walter yielded to congestive heart failure. Obviously, his life's achievement presents a viable solution to rescue and civil safety challenges resulting from both disasters.

The Technology
Imagine the value in human life of emergency response teams equipped to act immediately, traversing debris and flood water, able to evacuate those stranded. The HybriCraft family of vehicles will offer increased capacity as compared to conventional craft, presenting regional governments an exceptional solution for autonomous safety and rescue programs in places such as Aceh and the Gulf Coast.

The Future
The Walter Group carries this dream forward, working to develop a HybriCraft demonstrator in 2006. We now have the opportunity to overcome obstacles that bar surface mobility by providing terrain-independent surface transportation solutions. HybriCraft technology satisfies this demand, addressing multiple challenges and resolving heretofore-irresolvable problems.
